Mother’s Day is fast approaching, but what do you get the woman who brought you into this world? She deserves a private island, but they can be a bit pricey.

The next best thing is a margarita!

A day off is what most moms look forward to on Mother’s Day and there’s nothing better to accompany a day off than a fruity cocktail. 

Give a few of these Mother’s Day cocktails a try!

Basic Lime Margarita

If you’re in the mood for something simple that requires few ingredients, this lime margarita can likely be made out of things you already have in your bar.

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip them in salt. Fill them with ice and set them aside.

Pour the following into a cocktail shaker:

Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds and strain into your glasses. Garnish with a lime wheel and serve!

Señorita Margarita

Among the best margarita recipes, this pretty pink drink will be the perfect addition to any Mother’s Day! Its sweet, fruity, and sour flavors are a refreshing combination best enjoyed on a day meant for relaxation!

In a pitcher, mix together the following ingredients:

Pour into glasses that have been rubbed with a lemon wedge and dipped in salt until they are about 3/4 full. Top the glasses of with carbonated water. Garnish your drinks with raspberries and mint, and you’re good to go!

The Mama Rita

This margarita incorporates the use of wine, making it perfect for the moms who enjoy a glass of wine to unwind in the evening. Given the name, this may be the perfect margarita for Mother’s Day.

Pour the following over ice in a mixer:

Shake the margarita and strain over glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge or peel curl.

Watermelon Margarita

If your mom wants something extra fruity on a warm Mother’s Day, this margarita will deliver!

Rub your glasses with a lime wedge and dip them in salt. Set them aside for later. Cube 1 1/2 cups of seedless watermelon, place it in your shaker with ice, and shake it until it has loosened up.

Pour the following ingredients into the shaker with the watermelon and ice:

Shake the margarita for about 30 seconds and strain over glasses.
